If Netanyahu loses, says radio host, 'one of the few voices left speaking the truth about what is going on in the world' will be silenced.
Mark Levin, the presenter of the popular US radio show bearing his name, told Israel Hayom Friday that if Likud under Binyamin Netanyahu is defeated in the elections Tuesday – “one of the few voices left speaking the truth about what is going on in the world, about liberty and democracy and the truth about the opposite – terrorism and barbarism – that voice will be silenced.”
“He is the only one,” said Levin. “He and maybe the prime minister of Canada, and remarkably enough the president of Egypt and the King of Jordan and maybe a few others, but that's it.
"As I said earlier, to me Netanyahu is the leader of the free world,” the author and radio host told the Israeli daily. “I hope the Israeli people understand that. After World War II there was a terrible tragedy: The British people threw out Winston Churchill. It will be a terrible tragedy, in my view, if the Israeli people throw out Netanyahu, who is so crucial to their defense and so crucial to the free world."

Mark, if you need some tragedys , start with the 400 CHRISTIAN iISLAMIC captives in northern Syria. This is no tragedy in Israel.

Not the first time that Israel has voted for the left at a dangerous time. You’d think they would learn. And they do, but only after the left brings on another disaster. Longer memories would be good. But that’s the way things seem to work.
Like the Mayors of New York. When a leftist practically destroys the city, then they vote more conservative for a time. But then they forget and vote for another Communist jerk.

I am tired of saving people from themselves.
We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers...this is a giant spiritual condition both Israel and the USA are in and people have been blinded this will not end well for the world in which we live. The one reason that the arab neighbors and Iran have not been more agressive is they know BIBI will pull a trigger including a nuclear one of he has too and he wont negotiate away the settlement, the Golan or Jerusalem divided.
The liberals under Herzog have no problem with Iran.
This bodes for a future war and it will get really ugly

The political left from Neville Chamberlain up to including Barack Obama get elected and stay popular and powerful by promising peace.
In the end, they are forced to surrender to the worst elements of despotism and then claim that ‘they’ve delivered peace’ to save face. What they actually deliver is a bigger war (IE-see WW II) than if they got elected and delivered on the promise of being strong.
Liberals never learn. When the big war finally breaks out, they’ll simply go running behind the conservatives pant leg (IE-a Churchill type)—begging us to clean it all up for them.
And so it goes....
What you speak of in Syria was an absolute tragedy, I agree.
But a defeat by a weak party in Israel could well be an even larger tragedy...in the big picture.
Just as ISRAEL’S fate has been in the hands of GOD since the country was born in 1947-48. Whatever happens in this election, I’m quite sure, that GOD HAS AND WILL protect Israel.
I’ve always known that ... but that doesn’t mean that circumstances can’t be worse ... they can always get worse without Israel or the Jews disappearing ... and we’re not looking for that to happen!
Well, With respect, it is the choice of a democracy— Like was in Egypt ( before the coup) and in Ukraine ( before the coup) we must accede to the will of their people and mind our own business.
I guess the same could be said of the incident in Syria that you originally cited. Or any other observation of events around the world...including the US.
That doesn't keep me from being concerned about any of them. Including the possibility of a Netanyhu defeat.
Let’s all pray for Israel and Netanyahu.
