According to lobbyists and congressional aides, bargainers have discussed including money for the Children’s Health Insurance Program for two more years, costing around $5 billion. Its money is due to expire Oct. 1. […] The overall agreement—eliminating the Medicare reimbursement formula, slightly boosting those payments and adding money for children’s health—would cost roughly $200 billion over 10 years, aides and lobbyists say.

Hmmmmmm. Is the not-very-free press deliberately comparing the two sums over different time periods to make the children's program appear much smaller than it actually is?

("It's just a little more money! And it's for the children!")

Do these twits have anything in their bags beside “for the children” and “that’s racist”? Although I must admit, the gop always backs down when threatened with those.

They are still pushing for a 100% single-payer system and Medicare has to be destroyed along with the next target of Medicaid. If OBamaCare persists, we are up the proverbial creek.
