Looks like I-20 but Walton County only has about a mile of that interstate in their county and that is the only interstate in Walton County, GA. The deputy would have to be ready to act quick to make any sort of stop. That stretch of I 20 on into Rockdale County two counties to the west has a history of stopping cars with Carolina plates. Having said that, drug smugglers are always looking for non suspicious folks to carry for them.

Maybe we should be stopping and searching cops.
I75 going up from Atlanta to NC is a major drug corridor and they will pull you over for anything especially stuff like dark tinted windows, large white work trucks and vans etc. Too many people in the vehicle. but Walton county is Hicksville USA.
I would lean toward this cop being either overzealous or angling for seizure or there are just cops who like to hassle people. He may have been looking for a reason to take all their cash. I think its called armed robbery any other time.
I would not have let it go on that long. I would have demanded to either go on my way or him to call in a supervisor.
