Very appropriate scripture. You have no idea how to the point it is. We have seen lightning strikes near the protesters, targeted deluges flood the insurrectionists, and demon-possessed women freed. There have been many victories in the spiritual realm, but my flesh aches to see more victories in the natural.

The King of Assyria we see every time the news is reported; what we are in need of is Hezekiah.

I know that God is in control and I have seen Him move with power, but sometimes you just want to go out and kick some a@@. Which would make the situation worse but would feel so good (for a few minutes).

Have you ever read Chronicles of the Kings series by Lynn Austin? It’s great. King Hezekiah inspires you and then let’s you down. It will encourage you and remind you that today is no different than in the time of the Kings. Even though we are a sinful people, God is merciful. Hope you read the books and feel renewed like I did.
