I recall an inventory at the Oakland & Alameda bases. They were missing $6 million worth of stuff that was on the books, yet found $8 million worth of stuff that wasn’t on the books.
Everyone was happy. Until the RIF kicked in . . .

Good luck that it all turns out well for you guys.

My mom who was older and more forgetful than I lived with us for a few years. Really strange things kept disappearing and seemed to always end up in the refrigerator. It’s become something of a standard response line around here when you can’t find something and was begun by my grandson. So don’t forget to look in the refrigerator.

Prayers for someone at work doing inventory??Prayers for someone else's struggle. You don't need to understand (or judge) the ask.
The Christian thing to do, if you weren't willing to help, would have been to simply not answer.
Right?

Prayers up: I pray that you will find it all, and more importantly, that you are not the hand-receipt holder.

Never been in an overwhelming position, eh? We’ll be here to pray with you when you need.
To: US Navy Vet
praying you will get assistance from surprising places and you will smile when you realize He had it planned long before you started. He’s so good at that.

Prayers up for you, FRienD, in this matter and the other.
I pray for you a calm and clear mind, that you would find all that you seek, that the Lord would guide you and show you all you need.
Keep seeking Navy Vet.

Prayers up with chuckles. I inherited a huge account when I went to Korea. It took over a month to locate (or do the paperwork for stuff that couldn't be located) and I found over 60 pieces of equipment that had been previously condemned and removed from inventory - the Koreans working on base like them better than the newer replacements and were ingenious in keeping them hidden and running.
You may get very good at interviewing people who knew someone who heard someone else say that the equipment in question was moved to another office and the person who got it moved to another building and took it with him because all his files were on it - only to find out the person has since retired and nobody knows where he sat....
