It’s going to be volatile up until we finally get some debates in which people can see them face off on the issues and see them interact.

Meaning what would they do after the presidency? That’s their problem. Carter, Clinton, Theodore Roosevelt, Kennedy (had he lived), Obama. They’ll find something to do.

I don’t think Bush has much chance, but then, I never did. He was a good governor of Florida, very business oriented and brought a lot of prosperity, and would make a great Secy of Commerce. But not a good President.
I don’t think Walker is out of it yet, and it’s true that Rubio could move up, although I’d rather see Jindal.
However, the big question is whether the GOP is going to decide they have to find a female or black candidate somewhere, since once again, the Dems will be running on identity politics and not on substance. (Personally, I think the Dem choice will be Michelle Obama, if not for Pres., at least for VP.)
Jindal is of Indian descent, and Rubio is from a Cuban refugee family. Both of them are the successful children of immigrants, but I don’t think that’s going to qualify them in the minority sweepstakes; in fact, it would be a disqualifier. Indians actually study and do well in school and careers, and successful Hispanics have worked hard, usually in their own businesses, and gotten ahead because they’re willing to put in the hours and invest their own money. None of these are the types of behavior the Dems wish to encourage.
So unless you’re a properly government-dependent and grievance-fueled “minority,” you don’t count, and either Rubio or Jindal would be mercilessly attacked by the Dems as not being “representative.”
That said, I can’t think of any good black GOP candidates, although there might be a couple of women governors who would be good. But so far, I haven’t heard anything from them.
The insiders can buzz all they want...I’ll still not vote for the Schmuckie tool.

Amnesty Marco has to overcome the stinch from the Gang of 8, but he, like Jeb Bush, keep falling back into their real position of pushing for amnesty and open borders.
You know, since Reagan, we’ve played the media’s game by nominating the most RINO-moderate in the race...
Maybe we shouldn’t play their game anymore.
Nominate the conservative with the most conservative credentials, say, even a white, Christian male, and then let him go on the warpath against leftist/progressive/liberals in the media and democrat party who are destroying this country. Take them HEAD ON. Don’t allow them to set the question but show them how their gotcha questions themselves are biased.
We need a “I am paying for this microphone, Mr. Breen!” moment.

The one thing Rubio is better than Dauphin is throwing meaningless rhetorical to the GOP base.
