Ok, so you’ve identified the problem and root causes.

What’s your solution?

keep doing the same thing. Because anything else is racist and that’s all that matters. Not being sarcastic, just being realistic.

Nobody is going to do anything about the problem at hand. So as a Country we will continue to deny and ignore the truth that is clear as day and keep up the charade and throw other peoples money at an unfixable problem. Its the America Way now.

it was important for Governor Walker to listen and do exactly what he did.

Not to mention how important it was for Presidental Candidate Walker to do so.

I’m not sure how drug testing tens of thousands of people, and providing drug treatment and job training, is going to result in a net income gain for the state. Unless it comes from booting those who flunk the tests off the roles.

It’s also a pretty well established fact that the foot soldiers of just about every radical revolutionary movement are disaffected and directionless young men.

...

Really? The chief headchopper for ISIS has been outed as having a well educated background. Most of the 911 terrorists had engineering backgrounds. What could they possibly have in common other than that? Here’s a hint: they aren’t directionless at all.

You can be affluent and well-educated and still be disaffected and directionless.

Look at how many well educated and affluent kids end up in cults here in the US. Which is a closer analogy to ISIS and why I said that “Jobs for Jihadiis” was a gross and naive oversimplification. Also why I added the “many” qualifier.

Actually the “just about” qualifier, not “many”.

You have a nutball felonious thug who assaults a cop and we are supposed to empathize with his aggrieved family?

Just because the thug needed killing doesn't mean that it's wrong to empathize with his family. It was the Christian thing to do.

The governor did not say what would happen to those who refuse help...

Perhaps one-way bus tickets to a "sanctuary" city, secured by a pledge to never come back?

........................."Last year, The New Republic argued that Wisconsin governor (and Presidential possibility) Scott Walker is saddled by “Unelectable Whiteness” due to … well … it’s a little hard for TNR to make clear exactly why, but that’s what I’m here for.

..........................Nah, it was Wisconsin’s generous welfare program, which assumed a German Protestant work ethic was a human universal, that proved so alluring to the laziest people of Mississippi, and encouraged their daughters to subsequently have babies young to get on the dole themselves. Here’s a graph of AFDC from Thomas Corbett’s paper:

Sure, like Obama did with Trayvon's peeps and Holder did with Michael Brown's.

Good Christian men, those two.

And the Very Reverend Al, as well.

You might be confusing Obama’s, Holder’s and Al’s political theater with Governor Walkers humanity.

Wonder if he called the cop who was attacked by this mutt and had to put him down?

Is there any word on that?

I bet that cop is in a pretty uneasy place right now too, because of the attack, because he had to kill this creep, and because-—just as in Ferguson and elsewhere-—all the really big players seem to be on the side of the criminal.

I also wonder how many Wisconsin people have been killed in violent crimes over the past few months? Or in car accidents?

Did the governor visit their families as well? If not, why not? Why is this instance different?

The difference here is that it was a black thug killed by a white cop and Governor Walker went to visit the family of the black thug, not to mourn with the mother but to pretend to talk about government policies that would pretend to keep thugs like this from killing or being killed.

Racial pandering and nonsense.
