The New York Daily News branded Senate Republicans TRAITORS in large type across its cover Tuesday, saying, GOPers try to sabotage Bam nuke deal.
Thats not quite right. Its true that 47 Republican senators did their level best to bring us closer to war by writing a letter to Irans mullahs, attempting to scuttle nuclear talks with the United States. But Republicans arent exactly subverting the United States. Its more as if theyre operating their own independent republic on Capitol Hill. Call it the State of Republicania.
Its prime minister, John Boehner, invited his Israeli counterpart, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to criticize U.S. foreign policy last week before a joint meeting of the Republicania parliament. The American president wasnt consulted.
Mitch McConnell, the Republicania home secretary, wrote an op-ed last week in the Lexington Herald-Leader explicitly urging states to refuse to implement a major new power-plant regulation issued by the U.S. government.
And now we have Tom Cotton, Republicanias young foreign minister, submitting An Open Letter to the Leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran, counseling Irans leaders that any agreement reached by the United States but not ratified by Republicania could be undone with the stroke of a pen (assuming the next president comes from Republicania).
But why stop there? Ted Cruz, serving as Republicanias justice minister, could instruct the sergeant at arms to apprehend administration officials who testify on Capitol Hill and lock them below the Capitol crypt....

Milbank off of his meds again!
The guy who is running his own illegal naturalization program with half a billion of other people’s money is upset that a few guys wrote a letter?
Hilarious.
Gosh, Dana, you’re right, they’re out of control, nearly as much as a Secretary of State who says she’ll decide what emails she lets people see and they can just shut up and be damn grateful, or perhaps as much as a President who decides what part of laws passed by Congress he’s going to allow to be enforced, or media celebrities who decide what narrative the country is going to be presented such as yourself. Congress is a long, long way behind that sort of arrogant, dictatorial insolence.
Congress has a pen and a phone too. They need to be issuing a few letters that Obama can go f himself, and tell federal employees that if they do anything that Obama says in his illegal “executive orders,” they will at some point find themselves subject to prosecution or discipline.
Kneel before Obama or be branded a traitor. What about Pelosi negotiating directly with Assad? Lock that traitor b*tch up!
Milbank is an idiot and his back must ache from carrying all that water for Obama.
They are one part of a coequal branch and within their authority to remind anyone that any agreement is non-binding
“Sabotage Bam’s nuke deal”... HOPEFULLY!!!
Dana Milbank is one of the most useless people on the planet.
Meanwhile Milbank the idiot ignores the fact that Iran is the biggest sponsor of Islamic terrorism in the world, has vowed to wipe Israel off the map, and is completely unpredictable. Sure, why not give these maniacs full nuclear capabilities, huh Dana? Idiot liberals.
I wish this was a news report instead of some liberal’s rantings.
... or democrat Ted Kennedy directly approaching the Soviet government in his efforts to undermine Ronald Reagan and his foreign policy.
But I’ll bet Dana Milbank didn’t notice either of those things.
Sabotaging an horrendous deal which would allow evil men to procure nightmare weapons of biblical destruction by pointing out the nuances of the United States Constitution to men of extremely limited intellectual capacity is heroic, at the very least. At least in this man’s opinion.
I just read the excerpt, funny stuff.
Typical Liberal Moronics blather. Keep in mind that, according to them, the Supreme Court consists of Five "Conservatives," and four "Moderates."
Their "Newspeak" is always juvenile and totally ineffectual.
Not to mention, a fool.
Social Justice is way different from the Rule of Law.
“Idiot liberals.”
LOL. ... I am sure you did not mean to insult idiots.
