Ted is positioning himself brilliantly for the republican primary debates, because those will be seen by a national audience, not just ethanol proponents. He will be able to demonstrate how he has not pandered to such groups and is looking out for the vitality of our economy as a whole, while he will be able to demand the other candidates explain why they support the RFS, which is costing Americans more money at the pump.

The one truth that I have as yet to hear a Walker supporter admit to is that Walker would have accomplished absolutely nothing if he didn't have a GOP Legislature.
All Walker had to do was sign the bills as, for the most part, his GOP Legislature agrees with him.
Cruz, on the other hand, has a GOP-E leadership that absolutely hates him, and a sizabeable minority, if not majority GOP Chamber-of-Commerce caucus that disagrees with him on the most important conservative policies of the day, and Democrats that absolutely disagree with him on all issues and that were in charge of the Senate for most of the time.
Walker's job, with respect to "getting things done" is a 100 times easier than Cruz's.
When you are comparing oranges to oranges, and not tire irons, it becomes real clear who the real leader is, CRUZ!

You can ignore reality by suggesting that Cruz can pass a bill as a single Senator, but Im not allowed to ignore reality by asking why you havent introduced a bill.
You are a hypocrite. Holding others to standards that you do not hold yourself to.

I’m not sure the ethanol plants are the one racking in the big bucks either, there have been several in the MN/Iowa area that have come close to bankruptcy.

However, it is clear to me that a big government mandate is not the way to support the farmers of this state...

I think Repeal The 17th may have undercut your theory in his post #15.

You are absolutely correct in that. It was the WI Legislature that pushed Right To Work when Walker dragged his feet. Without the support of his legislature he would have never had Act 10 passed. Those legislators put up with hell both on the floor and on their way to and from the Capitol.
The voters in WI worked very hard to vote into office candidates who were conservative. It’s not an easy thing to do in WI, a state that traditionally goes dem in national elections.
Walker himself has spoken about the ideal situation that he has in his state government:
Walker also said “it’s preferable” to have one party rule in government, like he does in his state.
“Conventional wisdom [is] that Americans want divided government, but what I think they’ve seen over the last few years is that instead of checks and balances what that’s gotten them is a lot of gridlock,” he said. “And I think it’s significant to make the case, as we did in Wisconsin.”

I found that comment more than a little disturbing and would love to hear him elaborate on that. It’s something he definitely needs to be questioned on. It’s not the way our government has been set up and not what the founders intended. While it may be convenient for Walker think of all the damage Obama has done and what a dem House, Senate and President can do. Gridlock is not necessarily a bad thing.

Do you not see how delusional you are? I am not a Senator...Cruz is. All he has to do is his job. I have zero interest in being a Senator or President. Cruz for some reason thinks he is ready.

Right.
What performance when he had a Democrat Legislature?
Which bills did he convince a Democrat Led Legislature to pass that were conservative in nature?

Don’t know what bills he convinced them to pass.
As an aside, what bills has Cruz convinced the Dems to pass?
The rest of this you can skip, it’s meant for other readers.

What Walker did was convince the voters to send him a team to pass the legislation he wanted passed, and they did, and now he is.

your boy Scott Walker is all wrong on this issue...it’s you being the hypocrite, criticizing Cruz for not doing enough in your head (delusional) while supporting someone who’s not even on the right side of the issue.
