The circus is back in town. Hillary Rodham Clinton has not yet even announced that she is running for president, but the spectacle of the Clinton years is unfolding again, touched off by the controversy over her practice of using a private e-mail account, rather than an official one, while she was secretary of state.

I keep seeing talking heads on TV saying, “This may be the scandal that brings the Clintons down!” How can anybody possibly believe that? These people are a freakshow, but they’re bulletproof with the eager help of the media and the RAT cover-up machine.

Hillary's convoluted excuse at today's press event about "convenience" regarding the use of her private email system will not fly with that demographic, which is much more tech savvy than Hillary. It just reinforces their image of her as a relic left over from the last century.

I actually some talking heads making excuses for Hillary saying she was too old and stupid to use “modern” software and had to have her own server for that reason. Even the other heads laughed at that one.

A couple of times the media got upset with Bill Clinton but after a couple of weeks all was forgiven and they were back to being his cheerleaders.

Some in the media may be hoping that someone else will come forward, like Elizabeth Warren, so they are letting this story play out. If they decide that they are stuck with Hillary, the story will become an obsession of right-wing nuts funded by the Koch brothers while everyone else has moved on and is getting pumped for Hillary's inevitable election.
