Yes, there are differing schools of thought on "The Great Tribulation". Arnold Fructenbaum, arguably one of the greatest living Greek/Hebrew Bible Eschatology teachers, says in the Hebrew/Greek that the "day of the Lord" and "the Great Tribulation" are synonymous and the Rapture will occur prior to the last 7 years.

Jacob Prasch, another great Greek/Hebrew Bible Eschatology teacher says they are distinctly different and that the Rapture will occur some time between the 6th and 7th seals.

I go back and forth between the two, hoping for a Pre-Trib rapture but preparing for a mid-trib rapture.

I agree. I do not think that the Blood moons in America and other parts of the world have "Biblical" significance. But they could be signs to the nations they occur in.

John Hagee and other folks could run the risk of "crying wolf" and causing people to become cynical and jaded to Jesus soon return.

Arnold Fructenbaum is simply at odds with the scriptures completely.

There is no wiggle room in the scriptures. All scriptures are in agreement, so how can one find “differing schools of thought” unless one allows Satan to influence one’s thoughts?

The “Day of the Lord” cannot be during Satan’s tribulation of the saints, while he indwells The Man of Sin, and only muddled thought can live with such a contradiction. Trying to insert a false rapture in when there is no place for it is the cause of these “scholars’” severe confusion, and why no two of them can agree on anything.

The day of the Lord begins at the Last Trump, and is what ends the tribulation, by removing Yehova’s elect from the Earth. This begins the ten days of the bowl judgements. (the “wrath of God”)

The “Kingdom” has been “at hand” for 2000 years for those that have the Holy Spirit, but the physical Kingdom begins 15 days after the First Resurrection, at Tabernacles, when Yeshua physically returns to the Earth with his elect to rule for 1000 years.

These things are well spelled out by Yeshua in Matthew 24, by Paul in 1Corinthians 15, 1Thessalonians 4&5, and by John in the Revelation. There is no conflict in any of these scriptures to one that reads them without bias from man’s theology.

“The Rapture” is synonymous with The First Resurrection, the only resurrection unto life.

John Hagee is selling books, and nothing else.

He has contradicted himself so many times that he can accurately claim that he has predicted whatever he wishes.

Yes, it is the letter to Philadelphia.

There is a promise to take us to a place prepared for us; no need to try to walk through it. those that try to do so will either be killed, or take the mark.

I agree with your take on torture; the victims will be spared the pain. I am convinced that those that have been burned alive by ISIS fit that category.

Well done. I think you have the right idea, plus a reasonable climate and low cost of living. Make some friends there and you’re all set.
