Powell and Carson are worlds apart on abortion and some other issues. But Powell and Carson are closer on gun control and some other issues.

Colin Powell is a cry baby simp. I still can’t figure out how he ever got to be a General. Oh wait affirmative action.
I don’t condone racism but please consider the following. With all due respect to Colin Powell, I understand that he “made it to the top,” compliments of affirmative action. So I question how real the racism that he is complaining about with respect to GOP actually is since he may have been indoctrinated to see discrimination when it’s not necessarily a being practiced.
It appears Powell has became Al Sharpton’s sidekick.
I have no respect for this man anymore. He is really just an up-class race hustler. The one thing he fails to mention about the road ahead to improve race relations is the responsibility of the Blacks to take responsibility for their own actions and quit the victim mentality. Until that happens and the Black leadership begins to preach that, there will be no improvement.
I think there is a pretty good history of his remarks showing just that.
Remember all the FReepers that were gung ho to run him for Pres before anyone really knew anything about him? Ditto for Condi Rice. She is an impressive person, but a little research shows she is no conservative.
That's the deal breaker for me. I am a one issue voter now. The issue? You're either a conservative or you aren't.
