I always get a kick how the media compares Bush going to Crawford with Obama’s trips. Bush was always meeting with his staff there, heads of State, had the lecterns out on the lawn giving speeches. I wonder if they counted his time at Camp David?

I, as a (L), have no problem with paying the President for the work done; as little as that might be, TECHNICALLY, per the Constitution.
I DO have an issue with paying for the PERKS of said office that are outside of the job requirements and/or description (I don’t recall reading about vacations, per diem, etc.).
Now, if they wish to conduct business AS a business (expenses/open books) like they MANDATE for their employer (IE: We the People), I may have a change of heart.
