What did the White House know and when did they know it?
That timeline got murkier on Friday as the White House struggled to respond to mounting questions over Hillary Clinton's private email use. The heat was turned up after Politico reported that top White House officials knew back in August that Clinton was conducting official business on personal email.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest, when asked about what the White House knew, said senior officials were emailing Clinton while she was secretary of state and a few noticed she wasn't using a .gov email address. However, he did not say when they noticed it and whether red flags were raised.
He also said he had no idea when President Obama first found out and claimed he wouldn't be surprised if Obama only learned about it from "newspapers."
Meanwhile, in an interview with Bloomberg News Friday morning, Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett said she never received email from Clintons private address, and didnt know whether anyone at the White House, including the president, had either.
That I do not know, she said when pressed by the reporters.
As for herself, I did not receive email from Secretary Clinton, she said, adding that the president has a very firm policy that emails should be kept on government systems, he believes in transparency and I know that the State Department is working with the National Archives to make sure that Secretary Hillary Clintons emails are captured.
According to Politico, the White House, State Department and Clintons personal office knew in August that the former secretary of state had used a private email to conduct official business. The State Department became aware while the agency was preparing a batch of 15,000 emails requested by House Republicans in the Benghazi investigation.

Obama never sent to or received email from Hillary. Yeah, ok, riiiight.
Meanwhile, the scrubbing of servers is going at a frantic breakneck pace.
When they knew about it is directly proportional with how competent they are.
Hecky durn.
“Mr Obamas first knowledge of the oversight took place when he encountered an editorial cartoon depicting hillary’s Secret Server Room
Bammy obviously learned from M$NBC and is madder than heck.
This story has legs, but ONLY because the MSM wants someone other than Hillary as the Dem candidate. If the MSM (read that “New York Times”) can get Hillary out of the way, then a more liberal candidate will still have time to put together their candidacy. If Hillary stays as “inevitable” for another 6 - 12 months, then other candidates don’t have sufficient time to run a campaign. Hence this revelation coming out now.
It is fascinating to watch the MSM clobber her. But, I am holding off on the popcorn until Hillary starts swinging back!!!
With what she is a private citizen now she has nothing
George Costanza: Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorance on this thing, because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon... you know, cause I’ve worked in a lot of offices, and I tell you, people do that all the time.
No.....no.....seriously.....I can see why she wouldn’t use her official State Department computer. She was just up to no good. The crazy woman has a history of lying and covering up.
Did you see today where the Democrats on the Benghazi Committee are demanding that Trey Gowdy not subpoena Hillary? Two days ago, they were all smiles and daring Gowdy to subpoena her. Oh, what a difference a day makes.
Heh.
I seriously hope she takes down Obama with her.
Destroying him would be the greatest service she ever did for this country.
The real question is who in this administration doesn’t have a private email account..
He also said he had no idea when President Obama first found out and claimed he wouldn’t be surprised if Obama only learned about it from “newspapers.”
I seriously hope she takes down Obama with her.

Now that I ignore Rush after 15 years of listening, I now understand what OpChaos was all about.
