That isn't enough. Saudi Arabia is the 4th largest spender of military equipment, largely from US. They can do go to war at anytime for 'peace'.
But, we all know that do they don't really care as long as ISIS is killing the Shia and not trying to overthrow their little franchise.

They’re on their border. They’ve got a lot of gear, I’ve heard their air force is capable though untested, but they don’t have a lot in terms of ground forces. Of course Egypt could supply the ground troops. Collectively they do have the assets in the region. They lack cohesive leadership.

I don’t disagree that if they don’t want to act, they won’t. But there is a role in terms of leadership the US could assume here. Won’t happen under this administration.
