Making McDonald’s liable for its franchisees is reasonable and one would think they would want to anyway as it is their reputation on the line. But, if the law says they have no say, then don’t penalize them.

McDonald’s business model is real estate, not burgers. They own the land the franchise is on. Making them responsible for the employee structure will probably screw it up enough right nicely for the progressives...
