Mistake 2: Apologizing.
I'm thinking more and more that this guy as an attractive distractor, encouraged by those who really favor RINO elitists, in there to siphon away votes from constitutional conservatives.
Besides that, he's never been in a situation where he'd have a voting record. Carson should drop out now, and hope this didn't destroy his chances to be Surgeon General.
Gotcha...But it did say this in the first line of the article. “By Fox News. Potential 2016 presidential candidate Ben Carson apologized Wednesday for saying homosexuality was a lifestyle choice”.
Oh, apologies for my brevity.
What I meant was, he should no longer be considered a presidential candidate,
but president Walker or Cruz should appoint him as Surgeon General.

No apologies needed for telling the truth. No apology every coerced should be accepted as anything other than what it is. I would have said so my example may have been less than perfect but the Truth is the Truth and I stand by what I did say.

They don’t have to apologize. You only have to apologize if you are white, male, and straight.
Here’s one more reason to lose all respect for this man. To kowtow to the sodomites is disgusting. He knows damn-well and scientifically, that faggotry is a choice, a very a bad life-style choice.

He says what he means, means what he says, always confident in what he believes; Walker completely lost me, now Carson, the potential candidates falling like domino’s.
It is amazing how back-trackers and flip-flopers gain more points by doing so, I guess because it works for progessive liberal communists it should work for them, initially it may be so; but eventually it wears thin...they will fall; in the mean time so much money and resources is wasted.
Stick with the one who stands apart from the domino’s; not subjecting himself and his values and principles to the fall.

He will never make it through the media gauntlet but if he’s going to hang around and support other candidates, he needs to brush off these homo questions which any affect 2% of the population who choose this behavior.
Focus on the positive conservative things we can do to make families strong again and the other things that actually work to make the country better and reduce poverty as opposed to the feel good democrat solutions that DON’T work and bring poverty and misery to all.

But, the media/Libs/Dems get a ‘gotcha’ win as Carson gets on the apology bus.
Not a bad week — Chris Wallace managed to get 2 ‘gotchas’ from Scott Walker on Sunday. (1) Wallace got Walker to counter Guiliani and claim Obama DOES love America. (2) Wallace got Walker to admit he has flip-flopped on amnesty/comprehensive immigration.
Not a bad week for the media/Libs/Dems and it is only Thursday.

Who is offended? Homosexuals are allegedly offended at Carson for saying sodomy is a "lifestyle choice"? That's what the homosexual lobby has been saying for 40 years. The word "lifestyle" itself is a homosexual coinage of the 1970s, designed to trivialize "choosing" to do something wrong or perverse.
All of a sudden, sodomy is not some marvelous, inconsequential caprice like which brand of cola you feel like drinking today? We're saying now that it's a hereditary fate like like blue eyes or sickle-cell anemia? Isn't that kind of a dangerous line to be peddling, if you also don't believe in morality?
What if some large movement of people is ready to take you at your word—Moslems, say—and decides it would be socially helpful to round you up and kill you, to breed your strange habits out of existence? If you've extirpated the divine law against sodomy, how is the divine law against willful murder going to save you?
Does the homosexual religion require believing that it will always be touchy-feely "business as usual" in the beleaguered Western world?
Why is it that almost anytime anyone says anything politically incorrect, they end up apologizing and groveling? Who gets to them?
The only exceptions are Phil Robertson and Franklin Graham, unless I missed something.
Yep, he was just dropped from my list of people I would heartily support if he were to run for office. A year or so ago my daughter attended a dinner at which he spoke, and she came away excited that he might run for high public office, possibly the presidency. But if he's already caving in to the homo crowd's demand for legal and social acceptance of their perverted sexual practices he's off my list.
Homosexual acts are condemned as heinous sin in my bible, and in the 1st chapter of Paul's letter to the Christians in Rome he identifies practice of that perversion as THE sin, not just A sin, for which God destroyed the ancient world, (except righteous Noah's family) with a universal flood. Many centuries later rich and powerful nations such as Egypt, Greece, Rome, etc, elevated that same abominable practice to the status of an almost universally approved and widely practiced virtue, and all those nations were likewise brought down to ruin and subservience by the hand of God.
By the same token, if and when the majority of Americans accept homosexual depravity as normal, legal, and sinless acts God won't spare it any more so than he did the once great, rich, and powerful nations in which Paul lived. The US became a great, rich, and dominant world power because God honored the Christian beliefs and practices of it's leaders and ordinary people alike, and He can and I believe will allow destruction of what he once built because of our rejection of Him and His laws.
Hey wait a sec, we as a nation are already mere inches away from that depraved status, and after 2+ centuries of unprecedented liberty, wealth, and power under the favor and protection of Almighty God the US is falling from His grace and favor like water over Niagara falls. Thanks be to God I probably won't be here to see the inevitable conclusion to America's death spiral (I'm 77 years young), but most of you reading this will.

Better yet, move back to Maryland from Florida and run for their open Senate seat. He’s probably the only GOP chance to win it, and IF the MD voters would pay attention would outclass any possible Rat opponent.

I thought Ben Carson’s comments were somewhat ignernt. But in politics when you say something you need to stand by it or you get crucified.
Frankly I don’t know what compelled him to utter the words in the first place. I would say prison is not a good analogy. Most people would not say getting held down by 3 other guys is a choice. :-)
