FOX NEWS CHANNEL WAS #1 CABLE NETWORK ACROSS THE BOARD FOR NETANYAHU SPEECH

FOX News Channel was the top-rated cable network yesterday for the speech made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, averaging 3.3 million total viewers and 558,000 adults 25-54, according to Nielsen. FNC's ratings were up 166 percent in total viewers and 100 percent in adults 25-54 compared to the same time last year). Additionally, FNC beat CNN, MSNBC and HLN combined by 112 percent in total viewers and 44 percent in Adults 25-54 during the 11AM-12PM/ET hour.

So Netanyahu's speech pretty much fell on deaf ears. So about 1% of the nations’s population tuned in. And of those that did, I am also pretty sure he was preaching to the choir of those who did watch. Sad as the speech was historic.

A deeper-dug statistic is that of the 3.3 million who watched on FOXNews, only half a million or so were in the 25-54 demo, meaning more than 80% of the viewers were either college students or old [methane-enhanced atmospheric emissions].

Notice the funky thing the sound booth did to the audience applause? Wasn't very loud on CSPAN online. Had to be a deliberate managerial decision.

I watched tv and it was loud. My son was watching too and we were saying he was getting rock star treatment. After the speech. A Hispanic democrat from the town I live in called and said he stands with Israel and not Obama.
