WASHINGTON — The White House counsel's office was not aware at the time that Hillary Rodham Clinton was secretary of state that she relied solely on personal email and only found out as part of the congressional investigation into the Benghazi attack, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The person said Clinton's exclusive reliance on personal email as the nation's top diplomat was inconsistent with the guidance given to agencies that official business should be conducted on official email accounts. Once the State Department turned over some of her messages in the Benghazi investigation, making it apparent she was not following the guidance, the White House counsel's office asked the State Department to ensure that her email records were properly archived, according to the person who spoke on a condition of anonymity without authorization to speak on the record.

I’d like to know, did she even have a state.gov email address? How often was it used? What is the percentage of emails in that account (if it exists) vs. on her home server?
It should be pretty easy to figure out what was her primary account. If her own server then I can’t imagine there’s no sensitive information on it.
I can believe that. They probably didn't know until they saw it on CNN.
So she didn't send even ONE email to ANYONE in the WH?

If she would have they had to have seen where it was sent from and it surely wasn't from a .gov account
If so, it also says a lot about her relationship with the White House...no communication whatsoever.

She had to have been using e-mail address spoofing. Otherwise, the first look by investigators at ANY Clinton e-mail would have revealed this.

No doubt. Judicial Watch foia of WH emails to @hillary email address would be a start.
SOOOOOO many viable questions. Trey Gowdy, his staff and the House Select Committee on Benghazi need to consider things like that.
Not if they were only provided with paper copies that only showed the "friendly"/display name, rather than the underlying email address.
Oooooo...identity theft! What is the punishment for that?
I took a look at Morning Joe early today where the Left (including the media, of course, and also Obama factotums) is frothing to take down Hillary.
They know she is old tired ugly goods and besides they want a zealot (Warren, say) to follow through on Obama’s magnificent work.
But what’s going to be funny is finding out what Hillary knows about THEM, her colleagues in the administration, right up to and including Obama.
If she is thrown to the wolves for disasters like Benghazi I rather doubt that she will volunteer to feed the whole pack on her own.
But not Clinton herself I see.
