Good evening, Sand...((HUGS))...did you have a Maddi day?
I’m headed for home, and it’s not even dark yet.
Don’t forget, on Sunday, the rest of us have to go to Daylight Saving Time. *sigh*

Sgt. Troy A. McGill, USA (MOH) Troop G, 5th Cavalry Regiment 1st Cavalry Division
From This Day In U.S. Military History:
4 March 1944 - Los Negros Islands, Admiralty Group
Citation: "For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty in action with the enemy at Los Negros Island, Admiralty Group, on 4 March 1944. In the early morning hours Sgt. McGill, with a squad of 8 men, occupied a revetment which bore the brunt of a furious attack by approximately 200 drink-crazed enemy troops. Although covered by crossfire from machineguns on the right and left flank he could receive no support from the remainder of our troops stationed at his rear. All members of the squad were killed or wounded except Sgt. McGill and another man, whom he ordered to return to the next revetment. Courageously resolved to hold his position at all cost, he fired his weapon until it ceased to function. Then, with the enemy only 5 yards away, he charged from his foxhole in the face of certain death and clubbed the enemy with his rifle in hand-to-hand combat until he was killed. At dawn 105 enemy dead were found around his position. Sgt. McGills intrepid stand was an inspiration to his comrades and a decisive factor in the defeat of a fanatical enemy."

Do what the doc says...have “fun” with the drops.
An escort is cool. Did he drive you to Spokane?

I drove to Spokane, but he needed to come along as a required escort after surgery. He’ll probably need to drive home Friday too

Very nice....that’s my issue right now. I don’t think they will let me drive home. I have to figure out how to get there and back.
They are a traveling unit of doctors.
Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute....their head office is in Chehalis, Washington.
http://www.pcli.com/company/locations/
They have an office in Spokane, too.
I had Lasik in 1998. When my eye doc found cataracts about a year ago, he referred me to this office. As soon as I looked them up online, I knew it was the same place. That is a comfort.
They only come here on certain days of the week, so that is a factor in getting a ride from a work friend. I need to call and get the exact details of how it works, especially as I need both eyes. Days, times, return visits, second eye, and Mom. Serious problems each day since last week. One day at a time with her and mobility. Just finished putting together a “thingy” that goes over the toilet that gives her handles to help getting up.

The legislature told us several years ago we could vote on it...didn’t happen.
It has come up again....who knows! It just started to get light driving to work and on Monday morning it will be dark again.
Let’s see how long this takes to post. LOL!
