Raw Power: The White House press secretary has acknowledged that President Obama is indeed interested in using executive orders to raise taxes. The long national nightmare that is the Obama presidency gets worse.
All those speeches Obama made years ago about being unable to unilaterally decree laws that his supporters wanted him to enact were merely a setup for him doing it.
It's clear he wanted to appear as if he respected his constitutional limits as president so that when he did what he said he couldn't do, he would look like he was operating within the law.
No one should have been surprised when Press Secretary Josh Earnest told the White House press corps Monday that "the president certainly has not indicated any reticence in using his executive authority to try and advance an agenda that benefits middle-class Americans." The response came after a reporter asked Earnest about the possibility of the administration raising more than $100 billion in new tax revenues through executive order to close corporate tax loopholes.
"Now I don't want to leave you with the impression that there is some imminent announcement; there is not, at least that I know of," said Earnest.
"But the president has asked his team to examine the array of executive authorities that are available to him to try to make progress on his goals. So I am not in a position to talk in any detail at this point, but the president is very interested in this avenue generally."
Yes, we've noticed that the president is "very interested" in acting alone. In fact, we'd say he believes he alone is the law in America.

The GOP controls Congress, sadly conservatives do not. Speaker Boehner’s lack of resistance to “Dear Leader” is not so much ‘cause he’s a coward but an obedient employee... his (1%) bosses same as Obama´s. Resistance to the coming tyranny will NOT be from D.C. it must come from states and local governments on the enforcement (or lack thereof) side. Many local sheriffs beginning to resist unconstitutional decrees.

I don’t see local sheriffs doing enough. It’s totally within their authority to stop the illegal issuance of “gay marriage” licenses and to arrest bureaucrats who continue to issue them. But who has done that? Who has even CALLED for that?

Nobody. Congress won’t, and a military coup is not in the American psyche. Keyboard Kommandos will bitch and moan until they have no internet service to bitch from, and anyone with the balls to stop this tyranny would have already done so. Pessimist? No, just realistic.
the GOPe has decided to avoid the risk of being labeled ‘racist’ and instead, letting his bs get challenged in the courts.
of course, those courts are stocked by 0bama with friendly judges... so you can forget any help there.

Since our Senate and House (Both parties) are a bunch of worthless traitors, we may have to turn to protection to our individual states to nullify the increasingly rapid transformation of our country into a totalitarian dictatorship. Strong, conservative state governors and legislatures need to just start saying “NO, this is unconstitutional and we will not force our citizens to pay ‘tribute’ to the oppressive foreign power center that has taken over the territory formerly called the USA”.
Conservative states, stop taking ALL federal funds and STAND UP to the tyrants!
Why not? He will get no opposition and there is no extant Constitution to prevent him.
The problem is Republican statehouses, like the rest, have a hand held out for the cash grab from fedzilla. What it takes is taxpayers willing to refuse and then shoot the federal agents that show up looking to get their pound of flesh. Stop funding it... afterall, the treasonous traitor Republicrats in power have yet to control any purse strings... and roll over supine like catamites to please the undocumented worker-in-chief in the White House.
