'Godzilla With Mothra On His Back': Heilemann on How 'Dumb' of Hillary To Use Personal Email
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 03/03/2015 3:52:22 PM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

On the Bloomberg TV show he co-hosts, John Heilemann—asked today to quantify on a scale of "1-to-Godzilla" how "dumb" politically it was of Hillary Clinton to use personal email—answered "Godzilla with Mothra riding on his back dumb." Heilemann also revealed having reached out to former Hillary aides and that "to a person" they responded that the situation is a political "disaster."

Mark Halperin claimed that, substantively, Hillary might have "a leg to stand on" but that politically her decision to use personal email was "moronic."

Heilemann and Halperin blast Hillary’s decision to use personal email as Godzilla-size dumb and moronic. Ping to Today show list.

It’s only dumb if the MSM says it is. Otherwise, they won’t say anything at all about it and it then what does it matter?

It would be merely dumb it if wasn't criminally negligent, willfully deceptive and possibly conspiratorial, not to mention merely woefully unprofessional.

Meanwhile, NSA parses your every utterance...

And because she has a “D” next to her name, the MSM will get around excusing it as no big deal, and you are a racis, war on women bigot if you disagree.

They will try to play it off as dumb. But is it criminal? That is the question.

Let’s see.

Public email server.

Like Sara Palin’s personal account in 2008. Some operative researched her elementary school, first grade teacher, first pet name, mother’s maiden name etc. and had their way with all the emails.

Then there’s General Patraeus. Someone intercepted the Yahoo email encrypted, then ran it through a program that attempts a billion solutions per hour and 18 hours later, they had the password and account access.

Hey Hillary, what could go wrong?

Hey Hillary, what gives you the right?

I bet she starts wearing those x-ray glasses again and says the concussion she got dodging gunfire in the Middle East, while Chelsea was walking near the Twin Towers, made her do it.

I think that's the real scandal here, more so than the lack of transparency. This represents a serious breach of national security. As Secretary of State, Hillary was dealing with highly sensitive and classified information on a daily basis. Discussing such information via her personal email account, housed on a public server where it can easily be hacked, is incredibly irresponsible. Even the low information voters will understand this. She may as well have been posting it on her Facebook page. This is where Republicans should direct their criticism.

Like the Left always says to us, the only reason you would object to outside scrutiny of your emails is because you have something to hide.

It is significant that neither Heilemann or Halperin noted this is an illegal act that breaks the Federal Record Act. Bothersome.

Oh, Hillary still has a leg to stand on? So does a peg-legged pirate, but it doesn’t work too well in a storm.

As someone else suggested earlier today, they are discussing it now so that later on it can be dismissed as "old news."

Obviously Hillary went this route because some of the emails, if they were available, would do her more damage than this kerfluffle about violating the law and using a personal email account.
