Fr. Leatherby has walking pneumonia, he had to say mass this morning, he couldn't get anyone to substitute for him.
He's a joy-warrior. When he gives his homilies, he's grinning from ear to ear with tears in his eyes, bouncing on his toes. http://frleatherby.libsyn.com/
He's a fearless bantam-weight. He reminds me of the most physically brave man I ever saw, Ryan T. Anderson, facing down Suze Orman and 300 raging hostiles alone in Piers Morgan's tv studio, he was in top rope-a-dope form, "you can't call gay 'marriage' any more than you can say 'a square circle' ". sacra-pizza-man.org/ryan-anderson-videos-removed-from-lifesitenews-get-em-here/
should not work with pneumonia
for his health’s sake
and
for that of those in the room
just saying
bless him
Done.
Prayers up
Praying for a speedy recovery.
Prayers up...Sounds like a wonderful man.
walking pneumonia can be very tricky
it can be a lot more seriesous than it appears
often is
the Father should probably stay away from mass or crowds of people ,.. and take care of himself for at least a little while...and see if the doctors can clear the infection
Don’t know who he is, but he sounds good. Prayers for him
Walking pneumonia usually means that you have pneumonia but you can still walk around - coughing and hacking, but you’re still on your own two feet.
It’s wearing but not fatal, and he should rest and take whatever they give him.
Prayers for his health and healing.
in my prayers.
I download his sermons when I have time

Prayers Up...
get well Father, we need you!
Prayers up. Our Priest had the same condition after the New Year, he got rid of the pneumonia and then got pleurisy, which is an inflammation of the pleura, which is the moist, double-layered membrane that surrounds the lungs and lines the rib cage. The condition can make breathing extremely painful. He has not taken a day off, and has two parishes.
