Senior members of the Likud party – including, some say, even the most senior of them – are keeping their fingers crossed for President Barack Obama. They hope that he won’t fall ill, that he won’t fly off to some distant continent, that a cat won’t get his tongue, and that he won’t become suddenly faint-hearted about the escalating confrontation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
As in the well-known joke about the sadist and the masochist, the Likudniks are eager to continue being pummeled by Obama directly or by his secretary of state or by his national security adviser. They’ve reached the conclusion that every American slap in Netanyahu’s face only strengthens support for their party’s leader among his electoral base. This week, a poll the Likudniks were shown revealed that Israelis’ support for Obama – which had been unprecedentedly high during the period of Israel-U.S. security cooperation – has plunged to a new low.
“Obama is our best campaigner,” one of those senior figures said this week, not for attribution. “He’s our man. He threatens boycotts, he’s keeping the most important issue for us – the Iranian nuclear project and the prime minister’s heroic efforts to scuttle it – in the headlines. In the past,” he added, “the Palestinians did the work for us, with their terror attacks. Now it’s the president of the United States.”

I don’t know about that ... Haaretz is not known for favoring either Likud or Netanyahu ... I wouldn’t accept any compliments from them ... LOL ...
They needn't worry. He's (1) consumed by Jew-hatred, (2) surrounded by advisors who are just as rabid Jew-haters as he is, or more so, and therefore (3) unable to stop himself.
What about that Drudge headline? Obama would shoot down Isralei jets going after Magic Mulla nukes? That should help Netanyahu too.

If a news publication can see it, then the White House should as well. They won’t though, because Obama’s aides cannot see issues objectively, only through the prism of how it supposedly ‘makes Obama look’. This is hysterical, and most likely true.

I surely hope the people of Israel are smart enough not to throw out one of the best Prime Ministers they’ve had for some limp wristed leftist.
I see that Kerry is taking a softer tone on the visit.
Because if the House/Senate holds closed door intelligence hearings and this threat to the IAF is proven. It actually could be impeachment time.
Now, why should any one be upset if this LIAR IN CHIEF is angry? I’m glad that there is someone in this world that doesn’t COW-TOW to this LIAR IN CHIEF. Maybe, just maybe, Netanyahu will put some ball in our legislators. Who knows?

A fellow Freeper regularly posts Obama’s list of impeachable offenses. Congress could pick any one or a smorgasbord of one from each category. But, nothing will happen. For whatever reason, lack of fortitude, fear of the press, RINO-ism, a desire to go-along-to-get-along, the thought that Obama in office is better for their 2016 chances...whatever the reason, impeachment does not appear to be in the cards.
I’ll go along with the “tool” part.
Ouch.
The only time impeachment will occur is when the American people get angry enough to force the Democrat party to make Obama a scapegoat.
It may happen because of this speech if enough people are offended by what Netanyahu says; it might happen when enough people file their taxes and take the penalty hit.
I doubt the second one though - all you have to do is state that you have health care all year, so many people will simply lie.
