Good riddance to it.
No mention of Edwards, ah, issues?
Boy, there’s either the unintended irony or the cruel joke of the ‘’dialectic’’ of liberalism/socialism. The only thing an ‘’anti-poverty’’’ center or program is dedicated to is creating more poverty so the ‘’anti-poverty’’ center and the ‘’anti-poverty’’ program is constantly funded.
What a scam!
Some University professors ride at the top of the welfare wagon.
Hi, Mr. AM:
I just signed up and made a mistake. I want my screen name to be Lord Pumblechook, NOT lordpumblechook. Can I change that?
Thanks
NC is cleaning its academic/political stables of YEARS of cow and bull dung.
Recall that during these years, Erskine Bowles was Chancellor of the University system over all 16 universities (this being after he was Chief of Staff in 1996 to Billy Boy Clintoon, trying to manage THAT a-hole’s moral and financial, and national security depravity). Bowles is a fast to the teat Clintonite and major director of several companies, and on the board of Morgan Stanley, and several others. This “foundation” was created by this lib Colorado professor just before Bowles’ tenure began and while Edwards was trying to run for prez and then be John Kerr—rie’s VP. Bowles tried to run for Edwards’ vacated Senate one term seat. The “two america’s” Edward campaign was sub-funded by these demo-a@@holes and was no doubt a clever means to affiliate the “concern for poverty” (another GD lie and a half) with the University system, and the union vote (such as there is). NOT trying to bring jobs to NC’s considerably talented work force of machinists, mechanics, furniture builders, woodworkers and farmers— oh, no! We must whine about “poverty” and use money you shake down from private donors to a “university” foundation for the campaign— a very nice LAUNDRY. Sound familiar.
Good work NC Board of Governors. Keep cleaning up the dem machine, break it apart.
Ditto that.
They hide behind these organizations, usually given some non-descript name or a name that makes people think everyone supports it ("North Carolinians United Against Poverty", for example) when really, it's nothing more than a breeding ground for future leftists and a slush-fund for Dems.
Nichol is paid an extra $7,500 as the poverty center’s director on top of his $211,400 salary,....We need ‘free college’ for EVERYONE./s
