Colleges using coffers for financial aid to illegal immigrants stirs debate on immigration reform

Several U.S. colleges are giving financial aid directly to students who are young illegal immigrants, extending the debate about helping people in the United States illegally at the expense of Americans who are in need of similar opportunities.

Such opportunities have opened up since resident Obama's 2012 executive action that deferred deportation to millions of young people brought to the U.S. illegally by their parents. However, they still are largely ineligible for state or federal student aid.

...

This policy not only encourages new illegal immigration, but comes at the expense of the college dreams of young Americans," Stephen Miller, spokesman for Alabama GOP Sen. Jeff Sessions

...

The New York legislature on Thursday pass a so-called DREAM Act, which would make illegal immigrants eligible for state tuition breaks and college savings plan. But the measure will face strong opposition from state Senate Republicans in the budget negotiations.

...

Illegal immigrants in some states, including California and Texas, are eligible for state financial-aid programs. And more than a dozen reportedly allow illegal immigrant students who have attended public high schools to pay in-state college tuition.

Someone need to list the colleges that give scholarships to wetbacks. Then ask the students who are paying full tuition if they enjoy the way their college is screwing them.

US colleges are giving financial aid directly to illegal students, at the expense of tax-paying Americans w/ kids applying for state aid. The giveaways opened up via Obama's 2012 DACA---executive action that deferred deportation of kids of freeloading illegal parents.....who don't qualify for state or federal student aid.

Investors in state education bond issues were misled by not being told of this use of bond proceeds. They have standing to sue states, schools, legislators, bonding companies ....and the like.

The FBI, SEC and IRS should also be advised of misleading uses of bond proceeds----due to the bonds' tax-exempt nature.

PRIMER ON PUBLICLY-FUNDED EDUCATION BOND ISSUES

<><> State-issued bonds mean eternal debt (taxation) inflicted on taxpayers.

<><> The bonding agents are making a ton of money off the backs of taxpayers.

<><> Taxpayers should demand to know the terms of the education bond issues.

<><> How much is the bond company making?

<><> Did any legislators sell their aye votes in return for a cut of bond deal w/ bonding agents?

Did education bonding agents contribute to legislators' campaigns?

============================================

NOTE: Sometimes education bond issues are decided at the ballot box---if voters approved the bond issue without being informed of the illegal use of bond proceeds, that is reason for litigation.

=============================================

BTW, here's some popular campaign funding frauds:

* Instructing a campaign volunteer to forge the handwriting of campaign donors on donor contribution forms required by the Campaign Finance Board.

* Offering to reimburse an individual for a donation to the campaign.

* Instructing campaign volunteers, and others, not to accept consecutively numbered money orders as donations to evade detection about shady donations.

* Discussing ways to conceal information about bundlers.

* Working closely with bundlers on fund-raising events in which donors were illegally reimbursed for their contributions.

* Impeding investigations by failing to produce subpoenaed records in an apparent attempt to evade detection.

Once people accepted affirmative action as the law of the land they were going to accept anything. Plenty of qualified American students are rejected for “preferred minorities” (blacks, Hispanics, women) so they could “play scholar”.

At least the Mexicans are taking a share of those seats...
