As I understand this, Boehner just pitched the ball back to the Senate by requesting a conference, which passed.
Reid and his democrats up again.
In the mean time, the House may or may not vote on a stopgap.

I think the plan is to get this reconsidered in a way that gets it around the Dems. Maybe Boehner has learned something after years of having his head stomped on by the Dems.
