No Chris.

Congress is a co-equal branch of government.

Congress can invite whoever they want to visit and speak. They don’t need permission or give Obama veto power over who appears.

Just as Obama can invited Sharpton to the White House 80 some times without the approval or endorsement of Congress, Boehner and McConnell can invite someone to speak, without Obama being involved.

Why is this concept so hard to understand? The “crap storm” as Mathews calls it, was stirred up by liberals and the media. It was not stirred up by Congress or Netanyahu. The liberals decided to pick a fight over this issue, and that’s why it became a “crap storm”.

So what are we saying??? That Chris Mathews and liberal media types have to approve of who speaks to Congress, otherwise they will create a crap storm over it????

Best answer I have heard yet. Boehner ought to ask Obama if he is willing to give Congress authority to veto visits to the WH by the Muslim Brotherhood.
