The United Nations secretary-general says the U.N. mission in Libya should be cut substantially because of the new and increasingly dangerous situation there.
Ban Ki-moons report circulated Tuesday says the mission should be limited to 15 to 20 people inside the north African country while keeping a temporary base in Tunisia. The mission evacuated there from Libya last year for its safety.
Bans report stresses this does not mean that the United Nations is disengaging from Libya.
His recommendation comes as Libyas neighbors are calling for more United Nations action on Libya amid chaos that includes two separate governments and multiple armed groups. Militants affiliated with the Islamic State group last week released a video showing the beheading of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians, leading Egypt to launch airstrikes inside Libya in retaliation.

Why just in Libya, Mr. Moon?
Eventually someone will kill off all opposition and the UN will step back in, declare the situation stabilized, and ask for money for the new government.
I call him Mon Key Moon.
It’s actually Mr. Ban; Ki-Moon is his first name.
I’ve called him Ki-Moonbat in the past. His actions do not indicate otherwise.
He’s obviously wanting more money from us.
Remember how much the UN was crying for with the Ebola scare? They were throwing all kinds of numbers out there for more money.
The Left still proclaims that Bush’s war in Iraq destabilized that country.
They are silent about Obama’s war crime in Libya where “We came, We saw, HE DIED!!!” (Gadaffi was a POW who was tortured, abused, and murdered with our assistance and approval).
Run, Useless Nannies, run!
