The Egyptian president has issued a law that broadens the state’s definition of terrorism to include anyone who threatens public order “by any means,” and gives authorities powers to draw up lists of alleged terrorists with little judicial recourse.
Under the new law, prosecutors can name someone a terrorist, freezing their assets, and barring them from public life or travel, with only simple approval from a panel of judges, and without a trial. The listing is valid for three years and can be renewed.
The legislation was signed in the form of a decree by President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi last week and was distributed to reporters on Tuesday.
It is part of the government’s stepped-up campaign against an expanding insurgency by militant groups, including one that has pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group fighting in Iraq and Syria. …

That’s what Egypt needs to round up every last one of the Muslim Brotherhood, who tried to take over Egypt (not to say anything about Obama helping them take over Egypt!).
Al Sisi is a heroic figure and one of the few bright lights in the muslim world. He inherited a disaster created by Obama and our feral state department and has turned Egypt totally around including a pproject to double the throughput of the Suez canal and other major infrastructure projects all funded internally. A decent American president would at least call the guy up to congratulate him. What does Obama do? He invites the muslim brohood to some sort of a prayer meeting/pep rally at our state dept. and send them out re-energized with a swagger in their step to declare a total jihad against Egypt. I hope the Egyptian government manages to capture and hang every one of them.

One always needs to think about what the other side will do with a law once in power because evil will use if for evil.
