Surely she could have been appointed to a lucrative position in the regime and been able to loot the treasury legally.
The daughter of President Barack Obama’s former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is heading to jail after she allegedly committed theft as she awaited sentencing on a money-laundering conviction. Jeri Wright, 49, allegedly accepted payments for work she didn’t actually do at a plastics factory in Franklin, Indiana, according to a Chicago Sun Times article. U.S. District Judge Sue E. Myerscough ordered her jailed Monday, the Sun-Times reported. Wright had been allowed to remain out of jail between her conviction and sentencing, if she followed a strict set of rules outlined by the judge. Prosecutors allege she broke one of those by becoming involved in a ghost payroll scheme.
