With all due respect to Gov. Jindal & Co., he needs to be careful about promising to get rid of “government” services that many low-information voters are dependent on. What Jindal needs to do in addition to telling such voters that he is going to get rid of such federal programs is to also assure these voters that they can work with their states to be assured of such services if they want such services.

I like Carly in the race. She can be the hitman against Hillary, eclipsing any sexist remarks coming from the media if a male politician hits at her.

Do it for one and ny one reason. Obama was the most liberal in the senate. Number 2 was Hillary. Tie her to him at every opportunity.
I know you didn’t ask me that question but I think you already know the answer anyway. Huge numbers of those people who are dependent on government have never been able to come close to supporting themselves in their entire lives so what chance is there that they will volunteer to try to make it the hard way now? I had a resonably successful small business of my own for twenty years until technology changes made me obsolete. Now I am retired but wanting to work and I can’t seem to make as much money in a month on purpose as I used to make in one day by accident. I paid into the system for forty five years and am still paying taxes now but people who have never worked and never paid a dime are better off than I am. They will never, ever vote to cut government spending.
