As Obamacare drives away doctors already in practice and fewer students apply to medical schools, you will see fewer and fewer qualified doctors. My Cardiologist,a senior physician at three of Harvard Medical School's largest teaching hospitals, recently told me that he winding down his practice in anticipation of retirement. He said that he'll be taking down his shingle five years earlier than he had planned not due to health or money issues but because he refuses to put up with all the BS connected with ObamaCare.

Many, many doctors are doing the same; sadly !

My cardiologist is semi-retired for the same reasons. He's seeing just a handful of long-term patients like me, but he's not taking new cases. I see him twice a year and I expect most of his other patients do the same, so he basically doesn't have to come to the office every day. He's originally from India, so he spends a lot of time in his native land teaching and seeing poor patients. He says he enjoys practicing in India more than in this country. Qualified physicians are respected and valued in India and he doesn't have to contend with as much government interference and BS as he does here in the States.
