A friend’s daughter who worked for the campaign met Biden. Both of them were thrilled that he seized her hand and then hugged her intimately. From the way he described it I was appalled. It was too intimate for a teenager and a stranger.
Reminds me a bit of the movie "Primary Colors", the story itself based on Bill Clinton's first Presidential campaign. It's a behind-the-scene look, and one thing which struck me about the movie is the way in which it depicted the campaign organization's gradual release from any moral ground - thereby becoming a reflection of the campaign head's similar amoral attitude. Attracting workers of similar ilk, that became the "new normal", and was thereby not only tolerated, but celebrated. I think the same phenomenon occurs today with the modern Democrat Party and its followers, so it's not surprising that your friends think that Biden's oversexed behavior toward their young daughter is both titillating and bordering on wonderful.
