This article is good but not inclusive enough. IPS is a Marxist organization, funded by various liberal and Marxist foundations over the decades including the Samuel Rubin Foundation (named after Communist Party member Samuel Rubin, who was also a Soviet asset during his lifetime. Karen Nussbaum and Karen Ackerman were both members of the Cuban-DGI founded/US SDS aided “Venceremos Brigade”. Nussbaum was a leader of the CPUSA-dominated District 65; Ackerman was a leader of the CPUSA founded/dominated Local 1199 Hospital Workers Union, among others.
