FULL TITLE: Geraldo Rivera: 'Hip-Hop Has Done More Damage To Black And Brown People Than Racism In The Last 10 Years'

Damn Straight!

Geraldo nails it. Hip-hop and (c)rap music has done far more harm and has increased racial intolerances than the KKK could ever do.

I’ve been saying this for years. In fact, a lot of us have been saying it.

Kind of a Captain Obvious quote from Gerald Riviera. But he’s completely correct. And, hip hop screws up a lot of young white people, too.

Today’s hip-hop and (c)rap stars are no better than Stepin Fetchit from 100 years ago. Both are racist stereotypes designed to amuse white folks. White folks who buy and listen to the majority of this music and the white men in their glass towers in Hollywood and New York City that profit from hip-hop and (c)rap only serve to INCREASE the racism.

Much (most) hip-hop and (c)rap music is simply hate speech set to a jungle beat.

Hop Hop is not the problem just as Rock & Roll was not a problem.

in life walking around with his pants around his ass

A broken clock can be right twice a day. That having been said, think what image presents itself when these kids hunch over with their pants below their ass. Baboons in a zoo, with their buttcheeks exposed. Swinging around to hip-hop, getting free meals and hanging around every day, somedays flinging poo because, well just because they can. The rest of us work and are productive, and smile and laugh at the zoo animals with their pathetic lives.

Well, actually, racism has done a HUGE amount of damage to minorities in the last 10 years. And I’m not talking about racism on the part of white people.
