A possible hate crime is under investigation after a fire was set at a Central Florida church, where vandals also spray-painted "Allahu Akbar."

....And so it begins.
Looks fake to me, frankly.
That’s my suspicion too. Might just be insurance fraud.
Get their job apps!
We shall see if it is fake or not.
Listening to the Attorney General today; I can only conclude that burning of Christian Churches is not a hate crime if done by Moslems. I guess they will consider it as ‘accidental arson.’
A little something my grandpappy Achmed taught me:
It’s always hard to spot a black flag operation when all the flags are black.
I will wait for more information.
Maybe an illiterate person who was radicalized in jail?
They haven’t apprehended anyone, so we really don’t know if it was done by Muslims.
Why is it that when most “hate crime” stories are posted, FReepers are sharp enough to notice the details that point to a hoax, but now that the victim is a Christian church, most suspend all skepticism?
Or a radical person who was illiteracized in prison?
Most?
Have you read the comments?
It’s been my experience that, if there are no witnesses, most “hate crimes” tend to be false ones. Usually the “victims”/perpetrators are on the other side of the ideological or religious spectrum, but anyone can be an attention whore, so I tend to be skeptical of them all until more evidence comes in.
Yes, but I’m not just talking about this thread, there was another one earlier where most of the comments just assumed it was an actual hate crime by Muslims.
Looks like yet another Hoax (or possibly an unsuccessful Insurance fraud attempt) to me. I’d be surprised if it was anything other than that.
Perhaps because the liberals and the administration has done everything just short of an published declaration of ‘open season’ against Christians and Christianity.
Cum grano salis.
Just a random juvenile vandalism prank. /s
