An American aid worker who died while being held by Islamic State may have been married off to a senior jihadist leader, US intelligence chiefs believe.
Electronic surveillance suggested that Kayla Mueller, 26, was often with a particular Isis commander whose communications were being tracked by US spies, according to officials. “Isis didn’t see her as a hostage or a bargaining chip,” a counter-terrorism official told the ABC network.

The “proof” as reported has been very circumspect.... We were told that the family received an email with a photo as proof of her death and I recall at least one “news” source reporting the family had received a photo “of her face” — figured it to the be the ever-benevolent leftist freak Obama media’s way of (not) reporting that she’d been beheaded.
