Former President Bill Clinton has apologized to Mexico during a speech in which he suggests that the U.S. war on drugs has been responsible for fueling escalating violence.

Clinton spoke at the Laureate Summit on Youth and Productivity in Mexico where he told the audience that the war had backfired and led to violence which is crippling the country.

He said: 'I wish you had no narco-trafficking, but it's not really your fault. Basically, we did too good of a job of taking the transportation out of the air and water, and so we ran it over land. I apologize for that.'

Shut-up, Clinton. The drugs are part of Cuba’a plan to collapse the United States and there are very wealth people in the U.S. who are getting rich off it. Some people have no morals. We know all about your lack of those.

Its our fault for not wanting Americans to be poisoned by narco drug lords illicit drug shipments here.

Way to go, Billy Jeff. And Mexico’s endemic corruption, rampant lawlessness and criminality is our problem again, how exactly?

The man makes me ashamed to be an American.

Next on his list should be the underaged girls he raped on his buddy’s island. This man is beneath contempt, and his wife is worse for allowing his nastiness all these years.

I don't think he's saying that the "War of Drugs" was a bad idea, or that it has been a failure. He seems to be apologizing for the bad execution (Bush's fault. Obama's fault.) of the war since the Clintons left town.

("Hillary Saves".)

Hillary should explain why she thinks the War On Drugs is a failure.

In view of her husband’s apology to Mexico.

He should be apologizing to the American people. Since the ratification of the 21st amendment, the Federal government has no authority to fight a war on intoxicants.

In his apology, he left out that his own use of illegal drugs led to the rampant corruption in Mexico.

One has to admit Bill Clinton is sort of an expert on drugs - especially the kind one snorts with $100 bills.

Well, if by “war on drugs” he’s referring Gunwalker, he might have a point.

I don't knowing that Bubba is saying it's a failure. Or that it was a bad idea. It's just the execution of the idea that was screwed up.

I think this means that Hillary is running against the Obama-Bush administration, though. Will it work? The first Democrat to be elected with a majority of the popular vote since Jimmy Carter was Obama, and he was elected twice. So yeah, I think voters really are that stupid.

The narco-terrorists will ALWAYS fight over control of the profits of drug trafficking.

Those fatal battles continue even within the smoke filled borders of Colorado, where we were promised that legalization would end the monopoly of the cartels.

They offer “protection” for legal businesses and force immigrants to harvest their crops under threat of death to their families.

Had we simply executed drug dealers and kingpins starting thirty years ago there would be little to deal with now.
