Sorry I can see why railing against Obama is very entertaining, but the fact remains the employees at Staples need healthcare.

I don’t think Staples is winning any friends with this.

They need the job at Staples more than they need healthcare.

They may need healthcare, but that doesn’t equal healthcare coverage, as the NYT article pointed out.

By the way, I don’t agree with your statement that clerks and cashiers at Staples need health insurance, since most of them are students. If they are older than that and need benefits, they can try to become managers, in which case they are salaried and work 40+ hours per week.

>>>Sorry I can see why railing against Obama is very entertaining, but the fact remains the employees at Staples need healthcare. I don’t think Staples is winning any friends with this<<<

Oh, I wasn’t aware that Staples is “responsible” for People in their Employ to have Healthcare. Do their Competitors operate under that same set of rules? Have you asked those same Staples Employees what they “need”?

Since we still live in a (sort of) Free Country, I assume that anyone not satisfied with the conditions of their Employment can find another Job that offers them what they are looking for, or better yet, they could open their Own Business.

If it wasn’t for Obama and his Minions, we wouldn’t be having this Conversation in the first place. Thanks to Obama, yes I am railing against HIM, we lost our Health Insurance and the comparable replacement Policy is costing us an ADDITIONAL $8,400 a Year.

Honestly, I have no idea what your point to the previous Poster has to do with the current Reality of Obamacare.

I don’t find it “entertaining” in the least.
Maybe I’m just overreacting. Oh well, we’re all entitled to our Opinions. Carry on...

Helthcare insurance is not healthcare.

Many companies were able to afford healthcare insurance for employees before Obama The Arrogant Idiot doubled and tripled the cost with his "Affordable Care Act".

“Sorry I can see why railing against Obama is very entertaining, but the fact remains the employees at Staples need healthcare.”

Here’s where you and many others have been brainwashed. If you’re healthy, you don’t need “healthcare,” whatever that is.

Yes, some people need to go to the doctor. Some need to go to the doctor a lot. And some people occasionally need to go to the doctor. YOU may need “healthcare.” But the majority of the people of this country are perfectly fine without seeing a doctor every year, even every decade.

We’ve been brainwashed to believe that if we’re not seeing our doctor regularly, we’re not healthy.

This is the big LIE. And we’re bombarded every day with this big LIE. Start watching commercials on TV. Every other commercial is selling some form of health-related product. They are selling fear. Heck, you can’t even buy a box of cereal without being told the health benefits.

The majority of the people in this country are perfectly healthy and there is no need for them to visit the doctor. EVER.

employees at Staples need healthcare

Why don't you pay for it then? Why don't you hire these people and give them healthcare?

Bring back American jobs!

So perhaps those employees should learn something that
Is marketable. You know like a skill other than that of
A teenage starter job?

No one forced them to only apply at staples or refuse
To aquire some knowledge to do something else.

That mindset is so 2th century whining. I worked plenty of
Those kind of jobs while learning a trade.

Look, this is the denouement of Obamacare; this is what Obamacare was supposed to do, from the very beginning.

For the Republicans, negotiated for them by the American Enterprise Institute (it was their "man" in the room in 2008 when the handshake deal was done behind closed doors, of course), the deal is, the 'Rats get totally socialized healthcare a la the UK' s National Health and/or Single Payer a la Canada, and they get to run it with their people and pwn every mother with a sick kid or a formerly sick kid or a prospectively sick kid in perpetuity, for as far as the eye can see, and pwn their votes. And if the 'Rats pwn women for ever and ever the way they own the I Hate Whitey vote, and we' re talking 70% of the vote or so, then how is Daddy going to resist his babydoll and be mean and hateful to his kids by not voting Democrat? Who wants to sleep on the sofa on his way to Male-Asset-Stripping Divorce Courts stuffed with man-hating lesbian lawyer-b*tches?

For the Republicans, they get Esau's mess of pottage: They get a string of good quarters after they've dumped their employees off health insurance and flowed the premiums to their bottom line. The employees will be hurt, very hurt financially, and mad as hell, but what are they going to do? Practically? They can ESAD because they're a bunch of nobodies, exchangeable at will for an endless stream of other nobodies, even nobodies imported all the way from Bangladesh.

And they get to run political campaigns against the dictatorial Democrats and orate against Obama and Hildebeast and all the other "Hillary Cluster" Democrats in an age of fascist dictatorship, and win Congressional seats that they can barter endlessly with the 'Rats in exchange for tax breaks for the Chamber players.

Bottomless pit, guys. This is what the Republicans played for, on their way to the scrap heap of history and their someday-famous 200-year lockout (maybe 1000-year) from the White House, which will become notorious as a dictator's palace in days to come.
