“Diversity” is actually detrimental to most measurable aspects of success and a healthy, prosperous life.
“Diversity” usually means people with different value systems and different senses of right and wrong.
Therefore, it is hard to have community “capital” with people you don’t trust, and have to spend effort protecting yourself from those who would harm you.
