WASHINGTON (AP) -- By this time eight years ago, Joe Biden had declared his candidacy for president, launched a website, committed and cleaned up after his first campaign gaffe - a set of comments about then-Sen. Barack Obama that rubbed some the wrong way.
This time around, even while saying it's possible he'll run again, Biden's name isn't really in the 2016 mix.

In April 2010 I was visiting DC.
Walking on the west side of the WH complex, suddenly security shut down all traffic, pedestrian and vehicle.
After about 15 minutes, a convoy of vehicles, with SlowJoe waving from an armored Suburban, came out of the driveway.
A guy in a $1000 suit turned to me and said “If Joe didn’t have a chauffeur, he’d get lost on the way home for lunch”
the fact that the armored suburban was engineered to Keep Joe In.... rather than keep Intruders out...is not well known at this point....
