Didn’t he have an exhaustively researched story on the Mustang Ranch coming out soon? I understand they wanted to do a couple more field research trips to get some of the last details to wrap up the story.

This does not go deep enough. Who is investigating NBC? What did NBC know and when did they know it? Network anchors do not travel around alone. Who was on that helicopter? Where there are producers, and technicians that go along. Didn’t they notice this William’s story was off? What kind of culture exists at NBC where the truth doesn’t matter?

Williams just got caught playing Commander McBragg. If NBC is really serious about the integrity of their news division the next oversized head to roll will be that of proven liar and race baiter Al Sharpton; at least William’s lies didn’t kill anyone.

What about the other NBC people in the helicopter and at New Orleans hotel, they said nothing?
Really? Were they ordered to keep quiet?
Were his lies really all his own doing or did the company want to dramatize too?
I doubt it is only on him
