Official: Houthis seize U.S. Embassy vehicles, Marines' weapons at airport

Houthi rebels took all U.S. Embassy vehicles parked at the Yemeni capital's airport and wouldn't allow departing U.S. Marines to take their weapons with them, a top airport official in Sanaa said Wednesday.

The actions come after the United States, along with Britain, suspended operations at their respective embassies and moved out staffers because of the instability in the Arab nation.

This is the administration that wants to get involved in Ukraine against the Russian’s? I don’t know whether to cry or laugh at the stupidity and incompetence with this administration. I am counting my lucky stars every day that I am no longer serving in the US Military or any governmental post overseas. If you are an American and working for Uncle Sugar overseas you are essentially on your own. I read today where the US is going to start arming and training Ukrainian Army forces—bad idea! Putin’s forces launched a fresh offensive today. I don’t think folks understand how the world works and what we are up against in terms of Islamic fascism and Russian military capabilities. Don’t worry though boys, we are putting women in Ranger and infantry units! That’ll make ‘em shiver at night. Unfrickinbelieveable.

You don't think things like this have consequences? You don't think our Marines will pay in lives lost because of being forced to capitulate in things like this?

Our enemies measure strength and weakness, not tolerance and insensitivity. Every one of these little things stacks up, and it will come back to haunt us -- and the people that will pay for it are our military folks who will be sent into harm's way with slingshots and orders not to hurt our enemies' feelings.
