This Man Will Never Be Invited Back On CNBC

While Steve had a number of hard to hear quotes for the CNBC anchors - such as:

"There is no acceleration in underlying economic activity," and

"There's this wrong concept that I keep on hearing about in the financial press about the acceleration in economic growth... It's not happening!"

A stunned Simon Hobbs rebuffs, "That's a long list of non-ideal situations we find ourselves in," to which Ricchiuto snaps back "and we can keep on going!"

"After a string of dismal data on durable goods, retail spending, and inventories, we get a good jobs number and everyone saying the economy's good - it's not good!"

It was Sara Eisen that had the quote of the brief clip... (which has unbelievably been edited out since we posted it seems at around the 1:40 mark) when faced Steve's barrage of facts about the real economy, replied:

"but the key is that's not what The Fed is telling us."

Summing up the unbelievable 'faith' (misplaced beyond all reputational loss) that so many have in the central planners of the world.

We are already in a depression, and some major bubbles haven’t even burst yet.

Big American city’s when that happens, are going to turn into quagmires. Boy, it is going to hurt. I’ll likely be alive to see it too.

Yep, the guy who tells the towns people that the Emperor has no cloths is usually not every popular.

CNBC being one of the faithful organs of the Obama administration I am surprised that he was invited on the network to begin with.

I think whoever set up that block will be receiving some coaching from their supervisor about the importance of vetting their commentators. These shows like to have a good idea what the guest is going to say before they get on the air.

They want it to look unscripted but they also do not want any surprises. I think this guy surprised them.

Funny thing is; if they had more surprises like this their ratings would improve. They might even move from the propaganda pool to the real news category.

And to think of all the fools who voted this misery upon themselves.

Trouble is they voted it onto the rest of us as well...and those of us who couldn't see the diff between a Communist who hates America and a squishy moderate who loves her, and so stayed home, didn't help at all.

.... S storm will begin around January 2017....

Well, well, well. If it goes according to the Uniparty Plan 'A' ... that will be just in time to blame the Republican Congress for the Depression ... and to pin it on Jeb Bush.

You know what, if this Congress does not wake up to its constitutional duty .... the mess will be their fault! This Republic is dying. We have Control of both Houses. We have Republican Governors and legislatures in 30 States. But we still have

No Program. No plan, and No effective leader.

Obviously Barry's working for the destruction of America with the damn Rat Party behind him, but we might have a little problem with Iran before 2017.

Here's something to think about...

U.S. Security Officer in Libya: "The Taliban is Inside the Building" --October 10, 2012

The former regional security officer in Libya, Eric Nordstrom, recalled talking to a regional director and asking for twelve security agents.

"His response to that was, 'You are asking for the sun, moon and the stars.' And my response to him - his name was Jim - 'Jim, you know what makes most frustrating about this assignment? It is not the hardships, it is not the gunfire, it is not the threats. It is dealing and fighting against the people, programs and personnel who are supposed to be supporting me.'

And I added (sic) it by saying, 'For me the Taliban is on the inside of the building'."

Bibi knows the score and is risking world scorn so that we will awake from our slumber.

Zero Hedge is just an echo chamber for Gloomers. There’s no real value in it.

It’s only negative. A firm could cure cancer or end the aging process and Zero Hedge would run stories about how we will be sicker and die sooner.

It’s nonsense.

The drop in oil price due to demand contraction for diesel (which is what the world economy runs on) is a very bad sign.

So all is well?

I don't think anyone knows. The doom and groomers will be right someday. But for now we have to set our worries aside at times and just live.

Yes. Set your worries aside and just live. BUT, at the same time one can be watchful, observant, so that when the fan starts slinging the poop around, you aren’t caught by surprise.

But one who had seen the face of totalitarianism, and almost lost his life because of it. If you haven’t read Homage to Catalonia, I recommend it highly, and it’s a quick read.

I think Orwell’s time in Spain was his “Liberal getting mugged” moment.
