RE:”Perhaps, but our most defiant Founding Father, Samuel Adams, was very redundant in his pursuit of justice. He told his fellows repeatedly: “It does not take a majority to prevail…but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.”

Samuel Adams best beer is the Winter Brew.

Its frustrating to see so many intelligent folks at FR continue to think another political party can be our salvation. The Uniparty is the effect, not the cause of declining freedom. What we conservatives should oppose is the merging of power in Washington, DC.

Look toward the 17th Amendment to find the cause.

The Framers created a federated republic, with power divided between the states and the government they created. Progressives de-federalized it via the 17th Amendment, destroyed vertical separation of powers and practically assured consolidation of all powers in Washington, DC.

There really is no hope of return to republican freedoms without repeal of the 17th.

States, The Natural Second Party.
