I feel sorry for Kayla. More than likely her Syrian boyfriend had something to do with her capture or one of his friends.

But I'm disgusted with her parents. They used the woman who most likely indoctrinated Kayla with the Palestinian/Israeli conflict to be the first spokesperson for the family at the press conference. The woman looked like she was having a jolly good time. Kayla's friend and aunt followed her.
