Leading Jewish groups have slammed the German government for creating a new commission on anti-Semitism without including a single Jew.

Julius Schoeps from the Moses Mendelssohn Center for European-Jewish Studies on Tuesday called it “a unique scandal” that the Interior Ministry did not include any Jewish scientists or community leaders on the commission it created to fight anti-Semitism and support Jewish life in Germany. …

Imagine if the German Jews in 1926 had dealt with Hitler and his thugs in a definitive and severe manner when they had the power to do so. That historical failure to act haunts Israeli leaders as they try to cope with the prospect of lunatic ,medieval mullahs who claim to embrace death and repeatedly make apocalyptic threats obtaining nuclear weapons.
