Public School Forces Students to Make Islamic Prayer Rug, Recite Islamic Prayers (FL)

When the dupes and useful idiots were told by Obama that he would “fundamentally transform” America, they applauded like seals with no interest whatsoever what he meant by the term.

Every time the man who was referred to as “The One,” by Democrats, said the word “change,” the progressive sycophants in the audience would go into fainting spells, slobbering all over themselves.

With each passing day, we’re learning just what “fundamental transformation” meant.

Ron Wagner, who said he admittedly doesn’t normally pay as much attention to his son’s school assignments as he should, just happened to read from his son’s world history book a statement which read, “There is no god, but God. Muhammad is the messenger of God.”

Wagner found out that his son is being indoctrinated in the religion of Islam in his 10th grade class from a history book used in school districts across the State of Florida.

“Students were instructed to recite this prayer as the first Pillar of Islam, off of the board at the teacher’s instruction,” Mr. Wagner, who says he himself is not religious, told WFTV.

Wagner, with a little further investigation, found out that his son was given an “Islam packet” and required to make an Islamic prayer rug for the world history class.

Why aren’t the atheist taking them to court? That’s right, as long as it’s not christianity taught, Islam okay for them.

When I heard “religious indoctrination” I went into a panic thinking that maybe the school chorus was singing Christmas carols or something.

Now that would be worth making a fuss about.

“WFTV reports (emphasis added):
Inside of the book is a chapter dedicated to the “Rise of Islam,” including prayers and scriptures from the Quran. What’s more disturbing for Wagner is that the first 100 pages discussing Judaism and Christianity are missing. The district blames a manufacturer defect in 68 books that are only a year old.

According to Wagner, Dr. Michael Blasewitz, who oversees the high school curriculum, said, “The Pillars of Islam are benchmarks in the state curriculum.”

Wagner’s concerns prompted a district investigation that found the teacher never tried to indoctrinate or convert students.”

A manufacturer defect??? Really? Who is behind all of this pushing islam on students???

Islam should be taught in school but only in a comparative religion class...

Not as a stand alone course...

This is all part of Common Core which is financed by Bill and Melinda Gates’ ties to the publishing companies that will start being used in Kindergarten through college.

North, South, East, West, all educators have the same agenda. Where is the ACLU screaming about prayers and religion in schools? Wait, ACLU stands for Anti Christian Lawyers Union. How stupid of me.

I emailed the ACLU. This was their response:

Religion and Schools

Special Feature: Religious Freedom Goes to School in South Carolina »
At the same time, students’ rights of religious exercise and expression cannot be ignored. There are times when religion at school is appropriate. Students’ rights to pray voluntarily and express themselves religiously are intrinsically important.

The ACLU works to protect public school students’ religious freedom by curbing the practice of school-sponsored religion and ensuring that students may freely express and exercise their faith. We also defend students’ free speech rights in the public schools and students’ rights to pray in the schools. Additionally, whenever a teacher allows children to choose their own topics for an assignment (such as which book to read or which topic to study for a presentation), students may choose religious themes and the ACLU has protected their right to do so.

Children’s religious education should be directed primarily by parents, families, and religious communities, not the public schools.

Resources

“Saving Souls” (2012 resource): Creationists have stepped up tactics and propaganda in the U.S. to promote religion in public schools. ACLU staff attorney, Heather Weaver, assesses the damage.

Program on Freedom of Religion and Belief: Government-Funded Religion (2006 resource) : In the past, the government has allowed taxpayer funds to be used for religious discrimination through so-called “faith-based initiatives” that grant religious social service providers — who have long provided admirable and essential services to America’s communities — the right to discriminate, proselytize and play by different rules than other charities while spending tax dollars.

ACLU Position Statement on “Creation-science” (2002 resource): In 1980, the Board of Directors further clarified this policy by stating, “ACLU also opposes the inculcation of religious doctrines even if they are presented as alternatives to scientific theories.” “Creation science” in all its guises, for example “abrupt appearance theory” or “intelligent design theory”, is just such religious doctrine.

This is also required in 3rd grade by the K-12 Arizona on line home school program. A whole unit devoted to Islam, half a lesson to Christianity. The kids make a prayer rug, recite the prayer and are taught how “great” Islam is. If you refuse even for religious reasons, they threaten to expel your student. My neighbor told them to go ahead and expel her son and she would see them in court. They continue to give her a hard time and she is doing something different next year. They get their hooks into poorer families that want to home school because they are free.

From the perspective of a muslim, reciting the shahada would make the reciter a muslim. The teachers and administrators who are behind this belong in jail.

According to Wagner, Dr. Michael Blasewitz, who oversees the high school curriculum, said, “The Pillars of Islam are benchmarks in the state curriculum.”

The near extermination of Judeo-Christianity is predicted in Revelation 12...

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out , that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down , which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice , ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time , and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
