Yes, I think this is wishful thinking. Her will to power is too strong. FDR ran again in 1944 when he was almost at death's door, and Wilson wanted to run again in 1920 after his stroke. But it is easier to run as an incumbent and modern campaigns take more energy than they did in the first half of the 20th century. The only way Hillary doesn't run is if her health problems are worse than we know.

So what about another scandal involving Bill? The media has successfully protected her from the fallout of her own scandals...Travelgate, cattle futures, Benghazi, etc.
